Ch. 2: Daniel the Prophet
IN 598 BC, the powerful Babylonian King Nabukudurruusur, known as Nebuchadnezzar, marched his massive army to Jerusalem to eradicate the Rebellion of King Jehoiakim.[17] According to the Jerusalem Chronicle (ABC 5), Jerusalem fell in Addaru (March) 597.[18] By 586 Jerusalem was utterly destroyed and thousands of captives of the most educated and royal lineage of Jerusalem, Daniel being one, was carried off to Babylon.
The book of Daniel was written during the time of the Babylonian and Medes/Persian Empire of which Cyrus the Persian had occupied the throne and reigned for thirty years. Before Cyrus took the throne Daniel was made one of three dignitaries set over 120 princes who presided over the entire Medes Kingdom.
“Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” Daniel 1:18-20
Now King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and desired to know what it had meant however the King could not tell anyone the dream that he had dreamed.
“So the king summoned the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers to tell him what he had dreamed. When they came in and stood before the king, he said to them, “I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means.” Then the astrologers answered the king,“May the king live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it.” The king replied to the astrologers, “This is what I have firmly decided: If you do not tell me what my dream was and interpret it, I will have you cut into pieces and your houses turned into piles of rubble.” Daniel 2:2-5
What a predicament to be in. So the king decreed that all the wise men of Babylon be put to death. Daniel upon hearing the decree went and prayed to God with his friends for the interpretation to spare the wise men. At night, while Daniel slept, the dream was made known to him.
Daniel 2:19-23
“During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said:
Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.
He changes times and seasons;
he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.
I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king.”
So Daniel is ushered in before the King and makes known the dream and the interpretation.
“The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.” Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men. Moreover, at Daniel’s request the king appointed Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego administrators over the province of Babylon, while Daniel himself remained at the royal court.” Daniel 2:47-49
And so the legend of Daniel the prophet began…
Now below is the most studied prophetic scripture in modern times. It has produced a flood of books, movies, television series, and international lectures from the top theologians in the field. Debates have raged for decades upon the accuracy of the scripture as the mathematical time flow of history.
Mass theories have spawned that include the rapture and a host of wide eyed speculative predictions of events leading up to the end of the world and the return of Jesus the Messiah.
The fictional theories have made an absolute mockery of Christianity to the secular world and is no doubt part of the decline from the body of Christ. Below is the prophecy as given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel.
“In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;” Daniel 9:1
“And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, ‘O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: (69 weeks) the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:20-27
When one reads this scripture for the first time, whether your religion is monotheism, Buddhism, or atheism, the first thing we do is question the existence of angels. Forgive me for not including the various religions of the world, as there are many.
Throughout the book of Daniel we will find this same angel Gabriel, who stands before almighty YHWH, manifest to Daniel prophecy concerning many future events. There are a slew of writings about the angel Gabriel throughout history within Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
This is where the secular world disagree with the texts of the Bible and list opposition for accepting said documents.
I do find it curious that the majority of the anti-Bible, anti-Daniel clan have no problem accepting the Egyptian Book of the Dead, or other ancient god fantasy, but tear apart the book of Daniel.
The reason being the above scripture determines the flow of history for mankind as we know it and the manifestation of HaMashiach, the anointed of YHWH predicted to come into the world through prophetic writings spanning millenia.
The 70 weeks of Daniel as believed by the majority of Christian’s concerning eschatology, or end time theory, is not the capitulation of Biblical prophecy as described in the book of Revelation, or the end of society as pandered by many book, cable series, and movie.
In fact, Daniel 9:24-27 refers to the following Hebrew word:
שָׁבוּעַ – shabuwa
This shabuwa is 7620 in Strong’s concordance and the definition is the following:
- seven, period of seven (days or years), heptad, week
- period of seven days, a week
- Feast of Weeks
- heptad, seven (of years)
This Shabuwa occurs 20 times in 17 verses in the Tanakh (Bible).
First of all there are seven things to occur in this prophecy, which is ONLY for Israel, and the holy city Jerusalem – NOT for cultures of the entire world as described by the apostle John in Revelation.
- To finish the transgression
- To make an end of sin (transgression)
- To make reconciliation for iniquity
- To bring in everlasting righteousness
- To seal up vision
- To seal up prophecy
- To anoint the Most Holy
The 7 points here are not copied form someone’s theory, but a literal summary of Gabriel’s 70 weeks as told to Daniel.
Through theory and imagination have men merged Gabriel’s 70 weeks into the apostle John’s Revelation.
A simple search on the web and you will find a mass amount of data relating to Daniel’s 70 weeks, including the mainstream theory and boundless scatter brain ideology. Search engines in 2005 yield 12,700,000 results on the term 70 weeks. Today there are 1.2 billion results! And yet what do Christians believe?
What we find the majority of Christians and non-Christian alike believing is half-baked philosophies that not only contradict the scriptures of the Bible, but make a mockery of Christianity as a whole.
Movies and series based on the popularity of the phrase 70 weeks: “Armageddon” (Bruce Willis), “2012” (John Cusack), “The Rapture” (Mimi Rogers), “The Leftovers” (HBO series), and “Good Omens” (TV/Amazon series) have been made depicting quasi secular cultish beliefs – in short, all nonsense, but entertainment nonetheless.
This line of thinking was made popular through authors well before our time with a book explosion breaking out in the 1960’s through ministers and laymen preaching their theories that live to this day. Any time you hear the phrase end times, or eschatology, this will always be equated with the term Daniels 70th Week, or The Tribulation, which is the last week of the prophecy.
You may have heard that this is the time when the antichrist comes to power to destroy mankind, Christians are raptured from the earth, and Jesus the Messiah returns to reign forever. Much is true, just not the part of the last week, the 70th week.
The fact of the matter is that the 70 weeks have already occurred, and again they are the 70 weeks given by Gabriel to Daniel in captivity for understanding future events. What is believed currently is mere fiction and fantasy of the minds of authors.
You have been duped by a long line of authors simply copying their work from a previous authors theory, repackaging it with an updated prediction on current events, and selling it to the masses through a publishing house.
If you want to know a well received fiction all you have to do is follow the money.
At the end of every false prophecy and theory in modern times is a treasure chest of deceived Christian donations.
Now I am speaking directly to Christians. Here is something that you must live by when reading and studying the word of YHWH. Always remember when one misinterprets, inaccurately translates, adds, or deletes to the word of Elohim one of many things will happen:
1. Confusion
2. YHWH scripture will contradict the statement
3. The verse will not read grammatically correct
4. the verse will not make sense
5. the devil will use confusion to sow tares among the wheat
6. strife, contention, and arguments will abound
7. the rendering will not glorify Adonai
Now I understand what is being said to you here in this work that spans almost twenty years will be difficult to accept; truth is always smeared within the lies and confusion of the enemy. Always remember, everyday of your life, your enemy’s purpose:
- confuse the sheep
- scatter the sheep
- destroy the sheep
70 Weeks
NOW, THE PROPHECY states that when the command is given to rebuild Jerusalem there will be sixty-nine weeks of years until Messiah the Prince is revealed.
Sixty-nine weeks of years is, 69 x 7 = 483 years. Simple.
Many authors, attempting to be mathematically savvy, or perhaps just trying to make it appear as if you need to be some whiz to figure out the date, have put forth a myriad of calculations to arrive at the above simple equation. There is no need, it’s simple math for the most simple minds to understand, thus the wisdom of YHWH.
King Cyrus of Anšan (600 – 529 BC), ruler of the Persian and Medes Empire made a decree to rebuild the Holy Temple, Beit HaMikdash, in Jerusalem around 539 BC and allowed the descendants of Israel to return home from Babylon.[19]
“In the first year of King Cyrus, [he] made a decree: Concerning the house of God in Jerusalem, let the house, the place where they offer sacrifices, be built, and let its foundations be strongly laid, its height and its breadth each 60 cubits,” Ezra 6:3
It took about 95 years after Cyrus decree to rebuild the Temple for the command to be given to rebuild the city. King Artaxerxes I (465 – 423 BC) granted his cup bearer Nehemiah to go and rebuild Jerusalem accompanied by the King’s captains with letters to the governors around 445 – 444 BC.[20]
Nehemiah left Babylon to restore the city. The opposition was great, but nonetheless the city was rebuilt. This rebuilding started about 140 yrs after Nebuzaradan of Babylon destroyed Jerusalem.[21]
“And it came to pass in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, that I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had never been sad in his presence before.”
“Furthermore I said to the king, ‘If it pleases the king, let letters be given to me for the governors of the region beyond the River, that they must permit me to pass through till I come to Judah, and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he must give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel which pertains to the temple, for the city wall, and for the house that I will occupy.’ And the king granted them to me according to the good hand of my God upon me.” Nehemiah 2:1,7-8
If you lived in 444 BC and went 483 yrs into the future converting a 360 day year with the Gregorian Calendar you would arrive at AD 33. Jesus, or Yeshua in modern Hebrew, as known the world over, was crucified and fulfilled anastasis (rising from the dead) in AD 33.[22]
Jesus is the only man in history at that time to claim to be the anointed Son of God, the HaMashiach, as prophetically sent, and back it up with miracles and testimony never before recorded in history with the end result being a third of the global population claiming to have faith in the salvation of God this man preached.
Scholars, should focus on the fact that one of the greatest prophecies in history was fulfilled with ample historical and archaeological evidence to support the data. The prophecy as told to Daniel by Gabriel is more accurate than the calculations of men. If there is any error of dating from any author, or myself, it is the inaccuracy of men not God.
We do know that a man named Eashoa, the Aramaic name of Jesus, was proclaimed the Messiah and cut off just as the 69 week prophecy of Daniel said there would be – there is no arguing this fact! And yet that’s exactly what we have from academia, the secular, and Orthodox Judaism; questioning sound data that has been known for thousands of years all in the name of personal opinion and blind rhetoric.
Even Islam agrees that Jesus was a great prophet from God with overwhelming data and evidence to support His authenticity.
The amazing thing about the year 444 BC, in which the decree to rebuild Jerusalem occurred, is that according to Gematria the number 444 adds up to the following:
- Iesous (Latin for Jesus)
- The second coming
- God is on earth
- Lord Christ
- Jesus
- Perfect love
- He has shed blood
The name Jesus in Gematria, adds up to 444 and 888. What are the odds of the above? In Gematria, each letter has a numerical value based on the language English, Sumerian, Greek, or Hebrew. You can search any date or name and input any amount of data to see how the numbers, phrase, or name translate.[23] Search Gematria on the web and you will find many calculators.
Now we are closing in on the 70th week. This is the week so contested by doctoral Christian, secular, and laymen alike the world over. Many believe the prophecy stopped at 69 weeks and that the 70th week has not yet occurred, which is untrue. The 70 weeks is a chronological happening as given by Gabriel from YHWH.
The verse should NEVER be regarded as two thousand years elapsing between the 69th and 70th week as so many erroneously believe. There is no scripture that suggests an elongated time period, yet this is a belief held by the majority of the Christian population.
This is merely a man made theory pushed into the minds of unwary sheep by fictional writers or those guessing at prophecy they do not understand.
There are countless books about Daniel’s 70th week, with most referring to this time as the tribulation, the time of Jacobs trouble, the rapture, and the return of Eashoa. Christians as a whole, always reference the end times to mean Daniel’s 70th week, which is absolutely a false teaching!
The prophecy of 70 weeks as given by the angel Gabriel has already come true – it’s recorded history.
To Christians and the secular world a mystery they have yet to grasp and which many have spent years, their entire adult lives, attempting to prove through a myriad of allegorization, mind bending theory, and mass confusion upon the sheep. Dark forces try to scatter the sheep and erase the knowledge of salvation for mankind, using many authors, scholars, and doctors to eradicate the truth from the population.
YHWH will not be mocked or silenced. No one will eliminate the knowledge of Jesus the Messiah as savior of mankind. Not any atheist, antichrist, new ager, buddhist, imam, or rabbi, will be able to fight against YHWH and destroy this knowledge.
When you see anyone taking God’s name in vain or using Jesus’ name as a curse word – this is proof of His authority. No one swears using Buddha, Thor, or Zeus – people use swear words with God or Jesus as part of the swear word. Yet how many understand this simple reality?
For there is no other higher name to swear by. The average citizen has no clue how the fallen angels work in the lives of people. The population fails to realize their minds are constantly bombarded by auto suggestion and they are too terrified of talking about the subject.
Fear from movies and demon possession tie people up in knots as they do not have the spiritual tools to face such topics head on, let alone realize they are manipulated by such on a daily basis.
The Book of Daniel forever ends the argument of whether Jesus is the Savior of mankind and thus the 100% manipulation and mass confusion of the text.
It’s the most controversial, argued book of Tanakh! This is for ONE purpose and ONE purpose only to STOP people from believing on Eashoa HaMashiach, Jesus our Lord and savior.
Educated and uneducated alike can understand simple math and that is what has been laid out here. Historical documents and evidence can always be manipulated to keep a man’s pride intact, however, when the foolishness is made known only the pride remains.
There was no other man within the time period of AD 30 to AD 40 who claimed to be the Messiah, or Christ the son of the living God, and backed it up with miracles that no man has ever done. Raising the dead, giving sight to the blind, making the lame to walk, casting out demons, and curing all manners of sickness were but some of the miracles recorded which Jesus did.
All the pathetic theories of godless men, theorist, and apostates who call Jesus ‘idolatry’ have one thing in common, they are riddled with holes, denialism, lack of understanding, and flat out rejection of historical data. They are the brain trusts of the dark side, the evil spiritual realm you and your children want nothing to do with in your lives. The very personas that wish to destroy your souls.
Any person who says believing in Jesus as Messiah is idolatry is a doomed soul under judgment by YHWH. We were warned by the Messiah about these teachers, as they can make any person two folds more a child of hell than themselves.
These individuals will lead anyone astray from receiving salvation from YHWH, all the while PRETENDING to serve Elohim as was done before the Beit HaMikdash was destroyed. Any person who denies Jesus as Messiah by referencing their sages beliefs are brain washed puppets who cater to the teachings of men over their own mind and will of YHWH.
Running against the tide of historical evidence we have for Jesus Christ, even the very church that exists today for almost 2,000 years bearing His name, scholars STILL foolishly debate about the time line of Daniel. The reason they do so is the time line proves mathematically that Jesus is HaMashiach, the anointed one to deliver and save mankind. Not just Israel, but all men and women who call upon His name for redemption.
This leaves no choice for the academic world, based on historical and archaeological evidence, but to proclaim Jesus as Lord and Christ of mankind or be a fool! However, the pride of man stymies logic, evidence, and reality even as those who stubbornly refused to believe the world to be round rather than flat!
“And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken.” Deut 18:21-22
“And the Lord said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.” Numbers 12:6
So we know Daniel has passed the prophetic test according to the scripture written almost a thousand years before he was born. Jesus is the anointed Messiah as predicted since the beginning of man.
Daniel 9:26
“And after sixty two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (end of the 70 weeks),”
- The Messiah was cut off – Jesus was crucified and it was not for Himself, but for the sin of the whole world in AD 33.
- Titus of Rome destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple less than forty years later in AD 70.
I can see my fellow Christian’s jumping up and down saying, “That’s not when the 70th week occurs!” I am sorry my dear brothers and sisters you have been deceived by eschatology wizards generation after generation.
Many have been duped by the philosophical weevil’s which have merged two distinct prophecies given to Daniel into the 70 weeks as given by Gabriel.
Yom YHWH (The Great Day of the Lord) and the 70 weeks are two different prophecy my friends.
This will be made plainly to you now. I am not aware of any other document that explains the 70 weeks as laid out here and if anyone has communicated this they have copied it from this source. In fact, the New York Times bestseller, Jonathan Cahn, claims in 2019 that Daniel’s 70th week has not yet occurred.
The 70 week fantasy is alive and well in 2020, selling books and mini series for all to be deceived.
Debunking the 70 Weeks as a 2,000 Year Gap
KEEP IN MIND the tools of the enemy:
- confuse the sheep
- scatter the sheep
- destroy the sheep
“The missing seven years from Daniel, when you read the book of Revelation that’s what you’re reading about.” Jonathan Cahn, 2019 New York Times bestseller.
Wrong, the missing seven years are a phantom responsible for the sales of many a book, movie, and TV series – all fiction.
Gabriel’s 70 weeks as given to Daniel has already occurred, it’s history.
What remains is 42 months, or 1260 days of judgment through Yom YHWH. In this chapter you’ll learn the reality of “Daniel’s 70th Week” and how many an author fell prey to the evolved theory that currently grips Christianity while enticing the secular world to ever astounding fiction and profit.
“And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, ‘See ye not all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.’ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us,
- when shall these things be?
- and what shall be the sign of thy coming?
- and of the end of the world?
In the Gospels (Matthew 24:1-51, Mark 13:1-37, Luke 21:5-38) the Messiah lays out perfectly what will occur. This is not difficult to understand and part of history.
The 70th week occurred when Titus (39 – 81 AD) and four Roman legions laid siege to Jerusalem during Pesach or Passover. I know there is a ton of argument about this, but please continue so you can understand the confusion of this centuries old false teaching.
The four legions are thus:
- XII Fulminata
- XV Apollinaris
- V Macedonica
- X Fretensis
The four month siege resulted in hundreds of thousand of deaths, Jerusalem burned to the ground, and the Beit Hamikdash (Holy Temple) destroyed. The leaders defending the city, Simon bar Giora was paraded through the streets of Rome then executed and John of Gischala was given life in prison.[24]
The Arch of Titus, located in Rome, depicts the legion carrying the Menorah in victory after destroying the Temple (the Menorah is a sacred vessel handled only by Levitical Kohanim). Erected by Emperor Domitian in AD 81-82 to commemorate his brother Titus’ military campaigns and the destruction of Jerusalem, the arch is a stark reminder to the remnant of Israel of the loss of the 2nd Beit HaMikdash.[25]
The Israelites taken captive took part in many construction projects for the glory of Rome, one being Emperor Vespasian’s Colosseum. In the arena the captive Jews fought as gladiators, forced to kill their neighbors and family members. The Hollywood movie versions fail to give that account, but rather glorify Rome as a light to the world, not a heinous murdering slaughterhouse.
The end of the war capitulated with Emperor Nero killed by his secretary (a suicide) and Vespasian eventually succeeding him as Emperor.[26] Vespasian’s son Titus was the celebrated victor in Rome as the fourth person in history to sack Jerusalem, the jewel of the Middle East.
As believers in HaMashiach we have listened to many men and women preaching from the pulpit that the 70 weeks as given to Navi Yirmeyahu, the prophet Jeremiah, and Daniel through the angel Gabriel, that the prophecy relates to Christianity.
The 70 weeks absolutely have nothing to do with Christians, or the elect – nothing whatsoever.
The prophecy of Daniel 9:24 relates ONLY:
- for Israel; NOT the Saints, or Christians, or secular world.
- for the holy city Jerusalem.
Anyone who adds End Times philosophy in here is doing so by their own imagination. I apologize for the ‘all caps’ writing, but this needs to be clear as scripture specifically and literally states what is reality – anything added, like light sabers, is imagination or blatant theory.
Before we go further, you need to understand the three translations:
- Hebrew (10th century Masoretic)
- Greek (5th century Byzantine)
- Latin (4th century Vulgate)
The translation of the Bible for English occurred around 1604 AD for the King James Version. The oldest version of a Bible is the Catholic Latin Vulgate (AD 405). In fact, the oldest fragment of the Gospel of Luke is Papyrus 75 (AD 175 – 225), written in Alexandrian text type which varies from the more modern Byzantine text.[27] If you translate scripture yourself from the Greek you will render a different reading on many verse; go ahead and do it yourself.
Lets compare translations of Daniel 9:26.
Daniel 9:26 (My Greek translation):
And after the sixty and two weeks the anointed is broken and judged, but not for himself, and the city and the Saints to be destroyed by a leader and those to come as a deluge and until the end of war is stopped by the orderly destruction.
Daniel 9:26 KJV
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
A little different huh?
In the modern LXX Septuagint verse there is no Greek word for sanctuary, or prince, and anointed is the term used for Messiah.
The Greek word for prince is, πρίγκιπας, which is not found within the verse.
The Greek word for sanctuary is άσυλο, which is not found within the verse.
So why are the words there?
Well, the six committees set up for translation used what was the best match comparing in the 16th & 17th century from Hebrew/Greek/Latin to Ol’ English. However, those words were additions. The correct translated word for prince is ‘a leader’ and for sanctuary is ‘a city.’
Now of course 99% of the population is NEVER going to do translations for oneself. Those of us who do study and communicate biblical scripture have a responsibility to follow YHWH and His word as handed down through the ages. We do so understanding that the King James Version of Masoretic and Textus Receptus DOES NOT always render a proper Hebrew, Greek, or Latin translation to Ol’ English verbage, especially Daniel 9:24-27.
In fact, Greek, Latin, Arabic, and Hebrew have been read, translated, right from left and boustrophedon, which alternates every other line, right to left – left to right. What this simply means is it’s very easy to make a scribal error. Greek can be translated to where the entire verse reads from the bottom of the verse up.
To suggest one block of text is out of order in paragraph is merely stating reality when it comes to translation. Scholars performing textual criticism must be educated in multiple extant manuscript, which is multiple languages, modern and historic, to understand the verse they are rendering, the order, and collation of such.
Top scholars and orators since the 18th century, Driver, Wellhausen, Westcott, Hort, Farrar, Israel Abrahams, Jon D. Levenson would probably agree that inept monks had participated in erroneous translation.
Modern laymen and preachers lacking understanding how scripture translates from Greek/Hebrew/Latin to English mistakenly believe Daniel 9:27 is rendering a verse with the “abomination of desolation” coming after the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus of Rome in AD 70. They base this conclusion on one (1) block of text out of order and have come up with a myriad of fantasy rather than consult an expert of extant manuscript.
Failure to understand a verse of script, IMHO, does not give anyone the right to imagine and publish crazy ideas about the word of Adonai Eloheinu. The end result is theories such as,
“The 69 weeks stop…and we are still waiting for the 70th week,” as taught by so many erroneously today.
It’s our job to understand the different translations, to search them out and render by way of the Holy Spirit. Can we trust print companies and academic committee to render accordingly by the spirit of YHWH?
Absolutely not.
To each who has the ability granted we serve. Not everyone can be a doctor, nurse, or mechanic, nor a scribe. When it comes to the 70th week, the MASS CONFUSION for Christians is based on the last part of Gabriels 70 weeks, Daniel 9:27 in particular.
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
Clearly in the last 3 ½ years of the war against the Jews (66 – 70 AD), Vespasian nor Titus entered the Temple, or took away karbanot (animal sacrifice and mitzvoh offerings). In fact, when Titus sieged Jerusalem on Pesach, karbanot was in full swing until stopped by John of Gischala and his 6,000 men mounting a defense against the Romans.[28] So we know without a doubt that the abomination of desolation did not occur in AD 70, which is agreed upon.
In Josephus Book VI of “The Wars of the Jews,” the Temple was set ablaze during the siege as recorded so vividly thousands of years ago,
“So Titus retired into the tower of Antonia, and resolved to storm the temple the next day, early in the morning, with his whole army, and to encamp round about the holy house. But as for that house, God had, for certain, long ago doomed it to the fire; and now that fatal day was come, according to the revolution of ages; it was the tenth day of the month Lous, [Ab,] upon which it was formerly burnt by the king of Babylon; although these flames took their rise from the Jews themselves, and were occasioned by them; for upon Titus’s retiring, the seditious lay still for a little while, and then attacked the Romans again, when those that guarded the holy house fought with those that quenched the fire that was burning the inner [court of the] temple; but these Romans put the Jews to flight, and proceeded as far as the holy house itself.
At which time one of the soldiers, without staying for any orders, and without any concern or dread upon him at so great an undertaking, and being hurried on by a certain divine fury, snatched somewhat out of the materials that were on fire, and being lifted up by another soldier, he set fire to a golden window, through which there was a passage to the rooms that were round about the holy house, on the north side of it.
As the flames went upward, the Jews made a great clamor, such as so mighty an affliction required, and ran together to prevent it; and now they spared not their lives any longer, nor suffered any thing to restrain their force, since that holy house was perishing, for whose sake it was that they kept such a guard about it.”[29]
This is a first hand account from Josephus, a captive Israelite that served Titus, witnessing the battle as it ensued. Josephus in his historical writings as a scribe was bound to flattery of Titus, anything else would be his death. Had Titus entered the Temple for desecration, Josephus would have recorded it as he did with Antiochus Epiphanes IV. Instead we find the Beit HaMikdash ablaze at the hands of a foot soldier in the melee of battle. The works of Josephus and his story can be read freely online.
Christian doctrine, led by a few men in history, go on to teach that Gabriels 70 weeks stop at the 69th week, for several thousand years, and that we are still waiting for the 70th week!
This of course is beyond speculative to that of absolute fantasy imagination. Yet if you look at the majority of websites who claim to be some kind of authority out there, or bestseller books ranging back since the 1960’s, you will always see something to the tune of,
“Now, the prophecy seems to stop… there is a gap in the prophecy between the 69th and 70th week… which has not yet occurred.”
The majority of Christian writers echo this fantasy.
Worse, this line of thinking has made Christianity ridiculous to the public and very confused for those who would actually believe upon Christ. Instead they are overwhelmed with rapture theory birthed out of these vain imaginations and TV shows of which the secular world runs the ball with, all the while blaspheming our Adonai.
When you see book and cable TV series of shows like “Good Omens,” written by anti-Christian authors who promote satanism, witchcraft, and all things confusion for Christians, we know the corrupted theories, like the rapture, and pre-tribulation, have done their job for the dark side.
Abomination of Desolation
The abomination of desolation which surrounds the false teaching on the 70th week is also a misunderstood historical significance. The act in itself is the actual desecration of the inner sanctum of Beit HaMikdash, the Holy Temple, of which only the high priest Kohen Gadol may enter. This is performed by setting up a statue of a false god, where the Ark of the Covenant rest, or by slaughtering a forbidden animal upon the altar, such as a pig, as Antiochus Epiphanes did in 167 BC.
Seeing that 2,000 years have passed since Titus of Rome, it’s pretty clear the 2nd Holy Temple destruction was not the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel or Jesus, but how do we know this? The real question is, how many times in history has there been an abomination of desolation?
There were only two Temples historically in Israel. The first Temple built by Solomon and the second built under Zechariah and refurbished by Herod, but this is not the only time abomination had occurred. The first record we see is under Samuel during the Iron Age (1200 – 550 BC) that the Ark of the Covenant is taken captive by the Philistines.
“Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon. And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the Lord.” 1 Samuel 5:1-3
The Ark was with the Philistines for seven months and they kept moving it around as everywhere it went the people would break out in tumors. The Philistines consulted their seers, which advised to make five tumor balls of gold and five images of golden rats for all the plagues happening in the country to represent the five Lords of the Philistines.
They loaded the offering into a manless cart pulled by cows to see if the cows would go in the right direction (back to Israel) which it did straight away, confirming the plagues were not by chance, but by the anger of YHWH.[30]
There are accounts of theft, breaking into the Temple over the years and stealing Holy vessels, but the next occurrence of a foreign hand amidst the Ark of the Covenant happened during the first Temple about 600 years later. Around 587 BC, Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple creating the first diaspora.
The foreign power did enter the inner sanctum of Beit HaMikdash and put their hands on the Holy vessels, which is abomination. Millions of deaths resulted from the destruction. The angel Gabriel prophecy to Daniel is about the fate of the second Temple under King Herod, the Messiah to come, and end of the age.
Fast forward 420 years to the Hellenistic Empire birthed from the triumphs of Alexander the Great. Oliver Stone made the movie “Alexander” in 2004 starring a slew of famous celebrities depicting the rising power of Macedonia.[31] Once Alexander dies the empire splits off into four kingdoms and the Hellenist period begins with a host of rulers from Turkey to India.[32]
Antiochus Epiphanes IV (215 BC – 164 BC), real name Mithradates like his grandfather King of Pontus, is the hell spawn from this long line of Hellenist kings. His father Antiochus III Megas and brother Seleucus IV were Seleucid kings swallowing up land to expand their empire, while little Mithradates plotted until he was able to seize his throne through murdering an infant baby in line to succession.[33]
Antiochus sister is Cleopatra I, Queen of Egypt, not the famous Cleopatra VII who married and committed suicide with Mark Antony. Antiochus and Cleopatra shared the same mother Laodice III, daughter of Mithradates II of Pontus.[34] Mithradates changed his name to Antiochus Epiphanes (manifestation of the god) upon ascension to the throne in 175 BC and was obviously a delusional psychopath who believed himself a deity.[35]
Again as recorded by Josephus some two thousand years ago,
“Now it came to pass, after two years, in the hundred forty and fifth year, on the twenty-fifth day of that month which is by us called Chasleu, and by the Macedonians Apelleus, in the hundred and fifty-third olympiad, that the king (Antiochus) came up to Jerusalem, and, pretending peace, he got possession of the city by treachery; at which time he spared not so much as those that admitted him into it, on account of the riches that lay in the temple; but, led by his covetous inclination, [for he saw there was in it a great deal of gold, and many ornaments that had been dedicated to it of very great value,] and in order to plunder its wealth, he ventured to break the league he had made.
So he left the temple bare, and took away the golden candlesticks, and the golden altar [of incense], and table [of shew-bread], and the altar [of burnt-offering]; and did not abstain from even the veils, which were made of fine linen and scarlet. He also emptied it of its secret treasures, and left nothing at all remaining; and by this means cast the Jews into great lamentation, for he forbade them to offer those daily sacrifices which they used to offer to God, according to the law.
And when he had pillaged the whole city, some of the inhabitants he slew, and some he carried captive, together with their wives and children, so that the multitude of those captives that were taken alive amounted to about ten thousand.
He also burnt down the finest buildings; and when he had overthrown the city walls, he built a citadel in the lower part of the city, for the place was high, and overlooked the temple; on which account he fortified it with high walls and towers, and put into it a garrison of Macedonians. However, in that citadel dwelt the impious and wicked part of the [Jewish] multitude, from whom it proved that the citizens suffered many and sore calamities.
And when the king had built an idol altar upon God’s altar, he slew swine upon it, and so offered a sacrifice neither according to the law, nor the Jewish religious worship in that country. He also compelled them to forsake the worship which they paid their own God, and to adore those whom he took to be gods; and made them build temples, and raise idol altars in every city and village, and offer swine upon them every day.
He also commanded them not to circumcise their sons, and threatened to punish any that should be found to have transgressed his injunction. He also appointed overseers, who should compel them to do what he commanded. And indeed many Jews there were who complied with the king’s commands, either voluntarily, or out of fear of the penalty that was denounced.
But the best men, and those of the noblest souls, did not regard him, but did pay a greater respect to the customs of their country than concern as to the punishment which he threatened to the disobedient; on which account they every day underwent great miseries and bitter torments; for they were whipped with rods, and their bodies were torn to pieces, and were crucified, while they were still alive, and breathed.
They also strangled those women and their sons whom they had circumcised, as the king had appointed, hanging their sons about their necks as they were upon the crosses. And if there were any sacred book of the law found, it was destroyed, and those with whom they were found miserably perished also.” [36]
The above chapter of Josephus work clearly outlines the abomination of desolation and what will happen again under the dark Messiah.
Antiochus set up a Greek idol in the sanctum and sacrificed swine upon the altar for offerings to a false god and ordered this to be done throughout all the land, while heinously murdering thousands of Israelite’s, which created the Maccabees revolt.
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:27
Why the account of Antiochus is debated as NOT being the abomination of desolation for the Book of Daniel is mind boggling.
This is why academia disagree with Christian theology – as they do argue this IS the abomination of desolation as spoken by Jesus, just not understanding the context of Moshiach to come as they cannot possibly know these secrets as secular scholars.
The very people who spend their lives at dig sites around the world and uncovering vast stories behind Biblical scripture are ignored when it comes to any historical facts that override an accepted, supposed, prophetic theory. Especially, since these archaeologists are generally secular, or atheist.
I do agree, an atheist will never have the insight of a spiritually minded person, but you can be skilled at your job. Just because you’re an atheist does not mean poor performance on the job when it comes to anthropology.
Secular academia is void of receiving understanding or insight that is given only by Ruach HaKodesh. The mysteries are hidden to academia as YHWH had granted to Jeremiah and Daniel. However, for Christians to be ignorant of reality when it comes to historical fact, justifies the admonishment by academia. In that Christians will believe in their fantasies as Saint Paul and Jesus warned about many times.
Again, fantasies dreamed up out of the minds of a few men in history when concerning Gabriel’s 70 weeks to Daniel.
“Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, ‘My lord, what shall be the end of these things?’ And he said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.’” Daniel 12:8-13
Above is the last chapter of the Book of Daniel concerning the end of the age for humanity. We know historically that nothing occurred after 1,335 days of Antiochus Epiphanes as this is referring to the time of HaMashiach reign on earth as vividly depicted in the Book of Revelation, which is broadly misinterpreted as well.
In fact, after Antiochus Eiphanes dies, his son Antiochus V takes over as king and continues the campaign of war against Judah. Antiochus was only eleven years old when he rolled out to war with his commanding officer, General Lysias, equipped with over a hundred thousand soldiers, horsemen, and elephants to put down the Jewish rebellion against the Greek citadel in Jerusalem.
The young Antiochus strutted his way through Jerusalem and ordered the walls taken down after promising not to destroy the inhabitants of the city.[37] Imagine, a child coming into your city and ripping down your walls as your conqueror, what shame the Israelites suffered during this time!
You don’t see many preachers or academia talking about Antiochus V or the continual wars AFTER Antiochus Epiphanes, which prove without a doubt, the angels 1,335 day prophecy given to Daniel has nothing to do with Gabriel’s 70 weeks abomination of desolation.
This is the confusion, Christians and authors mistakenly believe that the 1,335 days is the same prophecy as the 70 weeks. Thereby, men in history assumed only 69 weeks of the prophecy occurred.
The unknowing today copy the previous thoughts of these confused men and echo the same false teaching to the population. Those who preach such – preach confusion. If you believe in Christ, repent, prostrate on the ground, so that Adonai Eashoa, Jesus, may heal and deliver you.
Seeing men who profess Christ Jesus as Lord preach false tribulation theory since the 1960’s brings me to ask YHWH why He has allowed such confusion to spread? The answer I believe is that during the 60’s Christian doctrine was competing with communism, growing occult witchcraft, and political chaos.
The tribulation concepts, although difficult to understand, allowed those seeking broader questions to mankind’s existence under the weight of perpetual collegiate philosophy onslaught, to grasp a vision of society from a Christian perspective.
You are about to see with your own eyes the 70th week as it is – history. And after you can focus on the knowledge as YHWH allows to those whom He freely grants His spirit.
70 Weeks Verse Rearrangement
Now to show you the scribal mistake through Daniel 9:24 – 27 verse rearrangement. We will show you Greek from 2nd-4th century AD as compared to the newer 10th century Masoretic text found within the KJV. They do not read the same. I want you to understand this truth. The Book of Daniel is one of the most contested Books of the Bible and there has been great manipulation of the text throughout history.
The reason for this is Daniel provides the direct timeline of events to Jesus as Messiah and those who reject Him DO NOT want you to believe that Jesus time frame was mathematically given to you by God through the Book of Daniel.
What I will show you here is the blocks of text out of place. One verse of text will move up and one verse will move down for Gabriels 70 weeks. The text in italics below (look at the number headings) change places from their previous position and, voila, all is well again:
KJV –
24. Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: (69 weeks) the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
KJV 27. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The translation above for verse 27 is a manipulation of the scripture and the mistakes are in bold. The use of “desolate” to describe two different events in time is absurd. Please keep in mind the KJV IS NOT original scripture. These words were chosen by translators for your confusion.
The Greek text as found in the dead sea scrolls and the Septuagint, of which Jewish academia reject, translate much differently and coherently. I will show you absolute proof of this now and the clear manipulation of scripture.
In Greek, this is how the verse reads 900 years before the Masoretic text.
The (μία·) is an addition and means “one” except for the “dot” on the end.
Now we can break the verse down word by word – you are about to be astonished and dismayed:
καὶ δυναμώσει διαθήκην πολλοῖς – and to strengthen the will of many
ἑβδομὰς μία – seven (seven years) or μία “one” week (1 day equals one year).
μία· = “one” (one and · addition removed)
καὶ ἐν τῷ ἡμίσει τῆς ἑβδομάδος – and in the middle of the week
ἀρθήσεταί μου θυσία καὶ σπονδή – take away my burnt offering and drink offering
KJV – “cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” Here we see the compromised use of “sacrifice” and “oblation,” rather than burnt offering, or drink offering. Sacrifice is too vague of a word here and both Christian and Jewish authors stray from the original.
Oblation:
-
n.The act of offering something, such as worship or thanks, to a deity.
-
n.The act of offering the bread and wine of the Eucharist.
Oblation is an improper English translation and a compromised word. We can see both Hebrew and Latin words translated to the English oblation and describes wine of the Eucharist, which is NOT korbanot during Daniel’s time, or the newer Hebrew word nesekh, a drink offering upon the altar.
The Eucharist is consumed by the body, not poured out as an offering as found in Leviticus,
“Its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord, for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, one-fourth of a hin.” Leviticus 23:13
The Eucharist would not exist for another 550+ years after Daniel, based on Jesus saying,
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26
The proper format from Greek is a drink offering or the description of a wine offering.
The Greek is σπονδή a drink offering, which is also described as a “libation,” a more accurate term, or in Hebrew nesekh (undiluted wine).
Libation:
-
The pouring of a liquid offering as a religious ritual.
-
n.The liquid so poured.
The Hebrew translation from the Masoretic text as according to Talmud Sanhedrin – rabbi must be clear in the format or explanation of sefer korbanot: olah, zevach sh’lamim, nesekh, chatat, asham, minchah; mistakes can cause many to error, even if an expert explains the process.
According to the Hebrew words you are not going to get one defined word that explains what is said by a single English selection of a word. We can write an entire book on olah (burnt offering) and chatat.
It is very important for you to understand that words causing a confusion are intentional.
Greek words can have four definitions as you will see. A scribe will select an English word, or choose a word they believe is correct. It’s up to you – the reader- to believe that their choice is the right choice.
I am here to tell you that many of the “choices” are not only incorrect, but absolute manipulation of the scripture to trick you into believing something else.
For example:
Sacrifice can mean a victim on the ground, over a stake, or in water, without the altar, and this is a clear violation of Torah.
The word “sacrifice” does not equate to korbanot, nor does burnt offering. Burnt offering, however, is a more accurate description than sacrifice as this does equate to a fire in use generally with an altar.
As Jewish scribes we are obligated by mitzvot to be accurate as possible, however, an absolute amateur can spot the manipulation of the verse’ in Daniel by both Christian and Jewish scribes.
Lets continue…
καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ἱερὸν βδέλυγμα τῶν ἐρημώσεων – and upon being filled with abomination becomes desolate.
καὶ ἕως τῆς συντελείας καιροῦ – and until the end of time
συντέλεια δοθήσεται ἐπὶ τὴν ἐρήμωσιν. – those united together will come to an end upon the depopulation/devastation.
The KJV scribes interpret the above as “the consummation and that determined shall be poured upon…”
The analogy for the word συντέλεια is the following. You decide:
- united contribution for the public burdens
- union of communities grouped together or united to a larger state
- body of citizens who contributed jointly
Consummation could be selected but the words are ἐπιτεθεικὼς τοῖς ἔργοις, notably different and render,
- the consummation of a scheme
You can see from above definitions the scribe for the 1611 Bible chose incorrectly based on their knowledge of Greek/Hebrew when translating into English. The Coverdale Bible was the first modern English Bible printed in 1535, seventy six years before the KJV, and the verse reads differently as follows,
“He shall make a strong bond with many for the space of a week: and when the week is half gone, he shall put down the slain and meat offering. And in the temple there shall be an abominable desolation till it have destroyed all. And it is concluded, this wasting shall continue unto the end.”
We can also see the English versions that come after Coverdale, try to stick close to this rendering, and from the descriptions, the scribes do not understand korbanot or the sacrificial system of Leviticus, or just simply did not carefully choose the proper words to define such with Ol’ English available at that time.
Interesting to note here that agenda 2030 is based on depopulation, which is the Greek word ἐρήμωσις the last word in Daniel 9:27. Amazing that a word chosen “depopulation” from thousands of years ago defines what will happen to all those united in that cause.
συντέλεια δοθήσεται ἐπὶ τὴν ἐρήμωσιν. – those united together will come to an end upon the depopulation/devastation.
ἐρήμωσις / ἐρημώσεων – definition is: depopulation, destruction, devastation, or desolation.
As we near the end of the age our understanding of scripture will increase as the Holy Spirit is poured out and etymology will display verse in ways previous generations were unable to see.
Ok now lets put it all together:
Daniel 9:27
And to strengthen the will of many seven years, and in the middle of the week, take away My burnt offering and drink offering and upon being filled with abomination becomes desolate, and until the end of time those united together will come to an end upon the depopulation/devastation.
Reads a bit different and much easier than your KJV doesn’t it?
Notice there is no “he” or “his” as these were added words to describe previous verse of the “prince to come,” as well as the word “temple,” PROVING without a doubt the words were added to the verse as the actual scripture block was flip flopped!
How do we know this? Simple.
Flip flopped – verse 26 is last in order in the text, verse 27 is before verse 26, NOT AFTER!
In your KJV – thats how you read it – flip flopped!
God’s word does not sound like gibberish, nor is it confusing. It is very easy for Christians to be confused, not only on scripture translation, but by the many theories of that confused improperly translated scripture. Jesus warned us and said,
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before. Matthew 24
In order for you to believe these charlatans, false scribes will use scripture to point to their anti-Christ. They will use Bible translations to convince you of their “truth” and we have witnessed over the last four hundred years a clear departure in Biblical translation to the English speaking world.
Here is a link for a complete breakdown in English of the Greek verse 27, which predates ALL Jewish translated scripture for anyone interested in knowing the truth over all the lies you are told.
The Greek word for seven is ἑβδομὰς
The majority of translators found on the internet will not translate this “seven” word from Greek to English. Google will not translate this word. Strong’s concordance online says they don’t know what the word means. ???
Here is a screenshot:
So I went to a 1999 hard cover edition published by Broadman & Holman, and lo and behold, the word is not there!
A Greek word that has existed for over two thousand years has been removed from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance. There is a similar word for “seventh” spelled slightly different, but no word as found in the Greek text as seven.
Why does Strong’s say they don’t know what this word means?
Moreover, MOST of the translators online WILL NOT translate this word, which means either Google or other publishers/organization want to stop the knowledge of this information and own those translators.
Again, google will not translate ancient Greek and the translations that come out of Google are erroneous at best. Ask yourself why is that when they are busy archiving and digitizing all books?
The answer is they will release updated translations in their image.
And of course it’s impossible to manipulate all information, especially forensic etymology, but we see a well engaged and expensive attempt to do just that by both Microsoft and Google.
Also, a trick online Bible publishers use is certain dots, hyphens, or symbols embedded in the text to break the translators – a dead giveaway they don’t want you to know the truth of the verse you’re reading!
If you enter the above Greek script verse 27 into a translator, as it is, it will be broken for one simple reason – the added word μία·
I left this in here so you could see with your own eyes the manipulation of God’s word by these charlatans.
μία· ←this little dot · is not part of the Greek language, it was added and will break the translator.
This is the microsoft Bing translation with the dot removed:
“and strengthen many wills, seventy-one, and at the end of my week, my sacrifice and libation, and on the holy abomination of the abominations, and until the end of time, it is given to the temple.”
The software will not know how to translate the dot and will simply not translate the verse correctly.
Organizations have gone to great lengths at trampling under foot historical words by eradicating them from dictionaries, lexicons, and Strong’s concordance editions, and attempt to control online information where you can access unadulterated manuscripts, translators, and source to render any true form of scripture.
Publishing houses have been taken over and update just about every Bible out there to read the way they want you to see the scripture, not as in it’s original form. I being a Zawada Jew can plainly say this and any attempt to say this is antisemitic would be ridiculous since I am a Jew exposing what BOTH Jewish and Christian scribes have done.
As YOM YHWH nears, Adonai Jesus will reveal very much to the world through Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit. Hidden mysteries will be revealed, evil culprits, and dark minions exposed. Remember Jesus said even the apostles could be deceived during this time as the dark confusion will be so great.
But we are not to live in confusion, but in the mighty power of our God through Jesus our Messiah who has delivered us with His precious blood!
The 1851 translation of the Greek, or the SIR LANCELOT C.L. BRENTON edition published by Samuel Bagster & Sons, Ltd., London, translates the verse as follows:
“And one week (seven) shall establish (strengthen) the covenant with many: and in the midst (middle) of the week my sacrifice (burnt offering) and drink-offering shall be taken away: and on the temple (there is no word for temple) [shall be] the abomination of desolations; and at the end of time an end shall be put to the desolation (two different forms of desolation).”
Both Christian and Jewish scribes have erred in their English translation of Daniel chapter 9 and why the verse read as gibberish and confuses many. When translated in a proper format as above the verse makes sense from what God is doing – not man.
Moving on to verse 26. Remember we have switched places of verse 26 and 27. Verse 27 reads first and 26 reads after – the correct way before manipulation!
King James Version 1611 –
26. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
Verse 26 Breakdown:
Here is the Greek Septuagint to Brenton English 1851 of the verse –
And after the sixty-two weeks, the anointed one shall be destroyed, and there is no judgment in him: and he shall destroy the city and the sanctuary with the prince that is coming: they shall be cut off with a flood, and to the end of the war which is rapidly completed he shall appoint to destruction.
And after those sixty-two weeks, the anointed one will disappear and vanish. (judgment is completely removed) The army of a leader who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary, but its end will come through a flood. Desolation is decreed until the end of war.
The phrase disappear and vanish is comical and discussed below. Also the word judgment κρίμα is missing. This translation is extremely poor and not credible for any legitimate academic rendering as similar to the poor Microsoft Bing translation,
“And after the week of the 62th, the anointing is exterminated, and it is a pity that it is not in him, and in the city, and in the holy one, it is in the abbot of the coming, and it is cut off in the flood, and until the end of the war.”
Now lets examine the Greek as we did verse 27, the breakdown of the words:
Daniel 9:26
καὶ μετὰ τὰς ἑβδομάδας τὰς ἑξηκονταδύο – and after the week of sixty two
ἐξολοθρευθήσεται χρῖσμα – the anointed is exterminated/killed. This inflection can also mean “is ruined.”
The KJV version “cut off” is inaccurate as the Greek simply does not mean that.
The Jewish Masoretic version removes anything that looks as if someone were killed or murdered, thus “cut off,” so they cannot be accused of killing their own Messiah – you all fell for it.
The ridiculous JPS English translation of “disappear and vanish” alludes to Jesus ascension, or “missing from the grave” to cause further confusion amongst the Christian community.
The Hebrew does not state these words. This is the trickery, they want you Christians to argue over the fantasies they project to you. They want you to dwell on and debate fictitious translations from their own mind.
They wish you to believe their Jewish version is more accurate than the Greek/Latin versions and I can assure they are not and are simply confusion principles to trick you. Nor is the JPS translation based in a legitimate format. The false scribes are simply deciding how they want you to read the verse in English, which is illogical diction.
Furthermore, Strong’s gives no account of this Greek word or rendering, for to do so would display the inaccuracy of the Jewish translation – they don’t want you to see or know that. These false scribes would rather you believe that Jesus is not the Messiah and that the Book of Daniel has nothing to do with the timeline pointing to Jesus.
But we know better as our Father Elohim gives us the knowledge through Ruach HaKodesh, which we receive by believing in the true Mashiach Jesus!
καὶ κρίμα οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν αὐτῷ – and there is no reason to judge Him
Above is one of the most important verses in the entire Bible and BOTH the KJV and JPS have removed the verse in their translation – ABSOLUTE PROOF of their manipulation.
ἔστιν is a sum of the whole. Strong defines the word “εἰμί” as “imperfect, accusative.” Again, another confusion term by Jewish scribes and why the verse reads like gibberish.
Both the KJV (Masoretic) and the JPS (Jewish Publication Society) leave out the rendering “judgment,” for to include it means they falsely judged someone to death, or more precisely, falsely accused the Messiah to get Him killed.
You have been completely duped by these false scribes and translators
The 1851 Brenton version reads “and there is no judgment in him.” It seems very difficult for these scribes to read what the Greek says before the Masoretic got their hands on manuscripts and were allowed to apostate scripture.
“There is no reason to judge Him,” is the translation and don’t let anyone tell you any different. You are not supposed to know the truth about Jesus. You are supposed to be confused about this simple statement.
The Coverdale, made 76 years before the KJV, says plainly, “Christ shall be slain, and they shall have no pleasure in Him.” This too is an inaccurate version, but AT LEAST it is to the point and not confusing.
καὶ τὴν πόλιν καὶ τὸ ἅγιον διαφθερεῖ – and the city and Most Holy shall be corrupted and destroyed
The word ἅγιον here is translated as “saints” from New Testament writing. However, no one was called “saints” during the time of Daniel and this word means “Most Holy” and refers to Beit HaMikdash, or the Holy Temple.
None of verse 26 has anything to do with Christians and is only for Jerusalem, the Holy Temple, and Israel. People have come up with all kinds of theories that this is the future Temple under Christianity – it is not. God was telling Daniel the time of the Temples destruction that would occur after the murder of His Messiah Jesus. The Temple destruction was completed by Titus of Rome in AD/CE 70.
διαφθερεῖ – this word translates as follows:
- destroy utterly, be destroyed
- ruin, break up
- to be corrupted, corrupt by bribes
- make away with
- kill, to be murdered
I hope your eyes are opening. You have been deceived by those intent on keeping you from the knowledge of Jesus, by rendering scripture inaccurate so you can remain in confusion and false theory.
Throw off your shackles!
σὺν τῷ ἡγουμένῳ τῷ ἐρχομένῳ – with/by the leader to come
σὺν, means “with” but the word preceding it is διαφθερεῖ, which means “to destroy” which the leader is destroying or the cause of ruin “with destruction.” If you translate to English as “destroy the city and the sanctuary with the prince that is coming,” this sounds confused in English. The proper English format is “destroyed by the leader to come,” this is verb action, not, “with a leader to come” unless you are speaking in Greek.
καὶ ἐκκοπήσονται ἐν κατακλυσμῷ – and are cut off in the flood
ἐκκοπήσ / ονται – can be broken into several words and literally means “are made to be cut off” from ἐκκόπτω:
- cut out, cut off, make an end of
- weary, knock out, laid waste
ονται translates to make things to be.
κατακλυσμῷ translates: flood, inundation, deluge from attack.
κατακλυσμός, means you are cut off from escape in war.
The “flood” describes the attack by four Roman legions against Jerusalem or being inundated by mass attack of 60,000+ soldiers.
καὶ ἕως τέλους πολέμου συντετμημένου τάξει ἀφανισμοῖς – and until the end of war, which will be brief, the army will destroy.
τάξει translates as:
- in an orderly manner
- arranging, arrangement; in military sense
- drawing up in rank and file, order or disposition of an army
ἀφανισμοῖς means extermination or destruction from ἀφανισμός.
In many Biblical passages we see this translated as “desolate” referring to a “place,” noun, not what an army is DOING (action) to that place. The depiction here is describing a place of orderly destruction by an army, or extermination.
Flavius Josephus,
“There was no pity for age, no regard for rank; little children and old men, laymen and priests alike were butchered. The cries from the hill were answered from the crowded streets; and now many who were wasted with hunger and beyond speech found strength to moan and wail when they saw the sanctuary in flames.” Flavius describing the Roman destruction in 70 AD/CE, The Wars of The Jews
Flavius paints the picture of turmoil, broken hearts, and savage grief, that if you consider yourself Jewish, must pause for a moment of silence and ask YHWH for mercy for our sins.
Lets put it all together:
Daniel 9:27
And to strengthen the will of many seven years, and in the middle of the week, take away My burnt offering and drink offering and upon being filled with abomination becomes desolate, and until the end of time those united together will come to an end upon the depopulation/devastation.
Daniel 9:26
And after the week of sixty two, the anointed is killed and there is no reason to judge Him. And the city and Most Holy shall be corrupted and destroyed by the leader to come, and cut off from escape by the flood. And until the end of the brief war the army will destroy.
What you are seeing above is descriptions in time that have occurred.
The first to occur is Daniel 9:27 as the verses in your KJV are out of order. This occurs by Antiochus IV Epiphanes in 167 BC when he committed the abomination of desolation in the Temple, slaughtering a pig and declaring himself a god, which is what his name Epiphanes means.
The second verse Daniel 9:26 occurred just as Jesus predicted, that Jerusalem would be completely destroyed.
Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:2
The Temple was completely dismantled. The gold melting into the bricks caused mass looting to where nothing remained but the Wailing Western Wall in Jerusalem today.
Do you see the difference? Verse 26 and 27 have traded places and now the scripture reads historically accurate to Antiochus IV Epiphanes who controlled Jerusalem for 7 years (one week) and committed the abomination of desolation.
As Jesus had said for you to understand there will be another abomination of desolation in the 3rd Temple,
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew 24:15-16
Antiochus IV Epiphanes was a foreshadow of the antichrist to come, a carbon copy of abominations of desolation’s in history leading up to the final charade. This was made known to the Jews and to all nations that you may know the signs of it’s coming as Jesus foretold.
By moving a block of text up one line – the entire passage now historically pans out perfectly. You can see this same occurrence in translation throughout the books of the Bible.
For those of you staring dumbfounded at what you’re reading, or want to argue with it, I’m sorry.
Realizing that you have erroneously taught and believed for thirty years or more the “Daniel 70th Week Concept” must be hard to deal with mentally. It is definitely cognitive dissonance.
It’s time to put off the shackle of deception and the modern lies that confuse and scatter the sheep.
More to the point, why would anyone speculate and generate ridiculous theories of the prophecy, i.e. moving into the future 2,000 years to finish out a remaining week of years?
It doesn’t make any sense simply because it’s wrong; it was always an imagined theory based out of improper translation of scripture and NOT KNOWING how the scriptures were manipulated.
Recognize reality, a block of text had been out of place by one inch.
Humans, as we are, instead of recognizing facts, invent theories to justify ideas in your head.
It really is that simple, without confusion or allegory of God’s word. With the one block rearrangement now history places perfectly:
- The 2nd Temple is built under Zechariah and Ezra around 539 BC.
- Gabriel gives Daniel 70 week timeline around 522 BC.
- Artaxeres decrees to rebuild Jerusalem 444 BC starting the 490 year clock.
- Antiochus Epiphanes IV commits the abomination of desolation 167 BC.
- Jesus is declared the Messiah in AD 33, 69 weeks (483 years) after Jerusalem decree.
- Titus destroys the 2nd Temple & Jerusalem in AD 70, as Gabriel & Jesus predicted according to YHWH decree.
- Gabriel’s 70 weeks fulfilled as mitzvot.
The 70 weeks have ended and now we await the beginning of the 1,290 days which include another abomination of desolation (there have been many in history) and the return of HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah, to end the age according to the prophecy of an angel as given to Daniel below, which by the way, ends the Book of Daniel.
Daniel 12:1-2,
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”
This angel is telling Daniel of the end of the age, NOT, the previous 70 week prophecy as given by Gabriel. These are 2 different angels and 2 different prophecy. Also, the previous chapter 11 of Daniel predicts in entirety a cross reference between the antichrist or dark Moshiac, and Antiochus Epiphanes who commits the abomination of desolation.
As they both, Antiochus and Onpiov antichrist as found in Revelation, are the same embued entity (both possessed by Satan). This also is something difficult for the secular world to understand – that of possession.
Again, it really is that simple folks and renders scripture chronologically correct with ZERO, NADA, fantasy imagination, or Star Wars theory predictions. Just reading what has happened in history, proven by archaeology, and documented accounts of people who were there.
It’s not difficult to believe when copying the manuscripts a scribe had a verse out of place by one inch. Scribal errors are common knowledge. And we’re not talking about a misinterpretation of text here, only the text being out of place by a one inch margin, which with a bit of manipulation, resulted in ridiculous theories and philosophies over the last five hundred years!
I hope after what you have read you understand that your KJV MUST be scrutinized when it comes to prophetic interpretation. The KJV of 1611 IS NOT completely accurate, but based on translated opinion. If anyone tells you different they are lying to you. That is the truth.
I have had many scholars, doctorates, and laymen tell me “all I need is the KJV as the inerrant word of God,” yet the KJV has scribal manipulation as displayed about Jesus and inaccurate descriptions of verse to cause confusion.
You must rely on the Holy Spirit who reveals all things.
Where the angel ends here for Daniel, the next visions and prophecy concerning Israel and Messiah are given to many prophets throughout history. The end times concerning the abomination of desolation, Jesus return and reign on earth, and the future of the human race capitulate in the writings of the apostle John which is discussed in the chapters to follow.
In summary:
- Modern Scholars reading Daniel 9:26 – 27, out of textual order, allegorize scripture with fantasy, mistaking the 70 weeks as not chronological, but separated by vast amounts of time.
- Since the 1960’s, authors who are not language experts, conceptualize theories based on previous false ideology about prophetic scripture and have retail success with such.
- The theory that there is thousands of years between the 69th and 70th week takes a foothold in modern Christianity as fact, not fiction, or theory.
- The rapture becomes a staple diet to Christians along with various stages of Revelation mixed in with the 70th week of Gabriel as the theories morph and evolve.
- The secular world latches onto the retail success of the Christian fictional stories and renders their conception of reality/sci-fi to the population.
The abomination seen with Antiochus Epiphanes, was a shadow of things to come. Titus destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple, was a shadow of things to come. The Crusades, Capetians, Medieval Inquisition, Jewish expulsion in Europe, Hitler’s destruction of millions of Jews and tens of millions of people – all shadows of the great suffering to come with Yom YHWH. For these events in history portray an inkling of the suffering to come to the whole world.
The horrific events of history depict for all Jews and the Saints to know and understand what are the signs to see from experience of the past. To understand the beginnings of such tyranny, seizing of property, unjust taxation (Produit des Juifs), false treaty, laws for heretics, banishment, murder, genocide, all things suffered in diaspora for recognition of that Great Day.
Isaiah 13:9-13
Lo! The day of the LORD is coming With pitiless fury and wrath, To make the earth a desolation, To wipe out the sinners upon it.
The stars and constellations of heaven Shall not give off their light; The sun shall be dark when it rises, and the moon shall diffuse no glow.
And I will requite to the world its evil, and to the wicked their iniquity; I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant and humble the haughtiness of tyrants.
אוֹקִ֥יר אֱנ֖וֹשׁ מִפָּ֑ז וְאָדָ֖ם מִכֶּ֥תֶם אוֹפִֽיר׃
I will make people scarcer than fine gold, and men than gold of Ophir.
Therefore shall heaven be shaken, and earth leap out of its place, at the fury of the LORD of Hosts on the day of His burning wrath.
The same man Antiochus Epiphanes was embued with the power of the fallen angel to commit the abomination of desolation. The same antichrist, who many regard as Nero after the destruction in AD 70, is the same endowment who will embue the dark Moshiach that will be accepted by Judaism.
The argument of prophetic scripture fails to recognize the power that inflicts enslavement upon humanity. Academia have no understanding of this power and are controlled by these entity all the days of their lives.
Will you as a Christian be controlled by this same power? The very argument set forth of what scripture renders to the masses is empowered by the very force which seeks it’s dominance and destruction.
Thus, the confusion of scripture to render it void. To keep the blind and deaf shackled; all the people led by the blind and deaf.
